BlueBio is an ERA-NET COFUND created to directly identify new and improve existing ways of bringing bio-based products and services to the market and find new ways of creating value from in the blue bioeconomy.

This project was preliminary to the setting up of an internal gene bank of aquatic organisms, aiming at preserving tissue and DNA collected during previous research projects, in order to make them available for further genetic analyses. Goals: (1) Overview of existing gene banks through bibliographic researches, web exploring and web meeting participations; (2) organizing archives of existing fish tissue and DNA collections.
