BlueBio is an ERA-NET COFUND created to directly identify new and improve existing ways of bringing bio-based products and services to the market and find new ways of creating value from in the blue bioeconomy.

The European Interreg project Aquavlan2 supports companies in the aquaculture and greenhouse horticulture sector in the Flanders-Netherlands border region with technical innovation. In this way it focuses on the further support and development of aquaculture in Europe. In addition to research into four specific themes, the project also provides answers to individual entrepreneurs in the sector via a voucher system.
