Summary Τhe project focus to develop web services to help fisheries scientists to organize calibration workshops for otoliths and gonads classification, and provide means to analyse the results of such exercises.
The final product will be an Open Source software package. The contribution of HCMR is consisted of providing the necessary information (features, parameters, analyses) for the development team to design the system, the provision of otolith or gonad images, and to take part in an intensive number of tests of WebGR application in order to identify possible bias in the software.
Also, HCMR will organize a training workshop where scientists will test the system in relation to the features requested.
