This can also contribute to a reduced risk of growth reduction after transport and treatment, and consequently also provide a basis for better profitability.
Main objective:
To survey and systematize existing knowledge that reduces biological risk in wellboats. This is done through a literature and experience study of existing knowledge nationally and internationally about the water environment and other conditions during the transport and processing of salmon in wellboats that can affect the salmon's robustness.
Sub-goal:
1. To compile a scientific knowledge base on the aquatic environment and other relevant conditions during transport and when processing salmon in a well boat.
2. To obtain and summarize experience-based knowledge from the industry and competence environment about the water environment and operational conditions during transport and when processing salmon in well boats.
3. To develop a digital handbook/reference book for best practice for the use of wellboats, including case studies from good and bad practice.
