The purpose of the application is to ensure the continuation of krill stock research for the scientific decision support of the BMEL and as a research contribution of the Federal Republic of Germany within the framework of the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR). On the basis of data on the plasticity of krill in relation to climate-related environmental changes, a predictive model for the future development of krill due to various climatic scenarios will be developed.
