Main objective: To establish scientific documentation on the protection of salmon against salmon lice infection throughout the production cycle by a combination of primary vaccination in the form of an injection before release into the sea and a subsequent oral boost vaccine via feed. Sub-goals: 1. Produce immunoglobulin Y (IgY) in order to document the preventive and ""therapeutic"" effect against salmon lice infection. 2. Testing oral delivery of IgY as a prophylactic and ""therapeutic"" principle in the early stages of infection. 3. Document duration of effect of injection and oral immunization.
