The purpose of the project is to develop a cost efficient offshore seaweed cultivation system based on Seaweed Energy Solutions' patented Seaweed Carrier cultivation concept. The main tasks include definition of a seaweed seeding strategy, development of the ideal Seaweed Carrier material, design and development of the structural rig and development of alternative deployment and harvesting methods.
