BlueBio is an ERA-NET COFUND created to directly identify new and improve existing ways of bringing bio-based products and services to the market and find new ways of creating value from in the blue bioeconomy.

Ministry of Agriculture following an official request from European Commission following complaints from locals, asked HCMR to make a rapid assessment of the possible effects of cage fish farming (2 companies, 3 cage sites) on the conditions of Argostoli Gulf and the relation between this activities and other economic activities in the region.
