The available database comprises research projects in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Seafood Processing and Marine Biotechnology active in the time period 2003-2022.
BlueBio is an ERA-NET COFUND created to directly identify new and improve existing ways of bringing bio-based products and services to the market and find new ways of creating value from in the blue bioeconomy.

"In experiments that are intended to demonstrate the effects of feed on the health of farmed fish, experimental design and methods are often decisive for whether the effect one measures is actually real. In order to provide buyers of fish feed with a better professional basis for assessing the claims made about the health-promoting effect of certain types of feed or ingredients, FHF wishes to conduct a scientific review and discussion of the methods used for this type of experiment. A review and discussion of the methods used will also give the feed industry, applied research institutes and other R&D environments a professional-scientific reference and guide in the planning and implementation of experiments." "To provide a scientific overview of published information on the health effects of feed for farmed fish, as well as make a critical assessment of experimental design and methods used in such experiments. As part of this, the project will provide • an overall presentation of publicly available information on the effect of feed and / or feed ingredients on farmed fish health • a critical assessment of experimental design, statistical and biomedical methods used in these experiments • recommendations on which experimental setups and statistical methods that should be used to document the health effects of fish feed"
