BlueBio is an ERA-NET COFUND created to directly identify new and improve existing ways of bringing bio-based products and services to the market and find new ways of creating value from in the blue bioeconomy.

The transnational project aims to facilitate the implementation of aquaponics through the development of 3 digital instruments that are accessible for everyone: i) An instrument for online training, consisting of an educational game and theoretical lesson modules. ii) A design tool for setting up virtual aquaponics systems and performing simulations. iii) A monitoring tool, which works on the basis of sensors, to monitor various parameters of an aquaponics system.
