Summary The project outlines a two-part development process to achieve the main goal of contributing to increasing the competitiveness of Norway's wellboat industry.1) Situation description and scenario building . However, there are a number of different technological solutions on the market and the working procedures often vary depending on operational conditions such as transport distance, unloading arrangements at the slaughterhouse, etc. A comprehensive and detailed overview of the operations performed, what kind of equipment is used and what requirements will be established. which is set to the technology to be developed later in the project. Based on the information obtained, scenario methodology will be used to predict changes in the wellboat cluster's future framework conditions. This will give the project consortium better conditions to be able to make strategic decisions.2) Technology developmentTechnology development with a focus on new innovation is the project's most important activity, and the initial activities build much of the foundation for success in this. Three thematic areas have been selected for the technology development in the project: a) VesselsIn this activity a vessel concept will be developed that satisfies existing and future requirements for capacity, design, speed, energy saving, etc.) Fish handling The activity will develop technology and methods that satisfy existing and future requirements c) Infection prevention and aquatic environment The activity will develop technology and methods that will improve water quality, increase transport capacity and reduce the risk of infection when transporting live fish. Development methodology will be used that follows the issues from conceptual conception to implementation. in the participating companies. The specific methods used will be adapted to each individual problem.
