It is made a number of projects to increase the efficiency of energy use in the Norwegian fishing vessels. Many vessels experiencing much attention and valuable assistance in the time they are active in projects . When projects are completed, boats must even enforce the changes and measures described or implemented, to ensure that the gains achieved. To make efficiency improvements and robust and durable in boats after the project period is over, the boats are entirely dependent on internal or external inspection in accordance with the goals and procedures. From experience, internal monitoring stop or absent due to lack of or weak foundation of the organization. In this description, it is suggested how a project with external assistance can attend this paragraph until the boats are self-propelled and can take over the follow-up on their own. Moreover, it is from a fishing vessel signalled interest in comparing energy use between boats and fisheries, which also helps to keep the focus up . There has also been a lack of targets for energy use in Norwegian fishing fleet, and this project will boats be able to document their own point of view in relation to the industry at large. The delivery of "Follow-up energy in the fishing vessel" will be useful also for vessels that have not been involved in projects in the past, and the project is planned to include boats of all different stages regarding project participation. Measures and technologies regarding energy efficiency made in different vessels are little discussed among fishing vessels in general, and through a separate activity shall be good and profitable conservation measures are described and get the industry to the benefit of contributing to greater efficiency. (1) Increase awareness of the vessels in the Norwegian fishing fleet on Fuel use her to get a more efficient fleet with lower Fuel consumption and hence lower emissions of greenhouse gases and improve profitability for the fleet; (2) Release of information form for each fishing efficiency numbers: benchmarks and the "best practice"; (3) Publication of newsletters with more detailed information on installations, restructuring of operations and the like that are made by the member vessels and which has lowered Fuel consumption.
