FISHCOM aims to better our understanding of human behavior under threat of exogenous versus endogenous sudden shifts. The interviews and surveys, subproject: "Classifying decision-making in complex environments: the role of ecological knowledge in marine fishers", contribute to FISHCOM by assessing the variation in ecological understanding among Arctic cod fishers and associated perceived pressures that influence regulation compliance.
