The recruitment processes of the cod stocks in the Baltic Sea are investigated in view of the maturation and the timing of the spawning process. This is done in connection with the investigation of the hydrographical conditions prevailing during the spawning process. The investigations are carried out in the light of the definition of marine protected areas for cod in the Baltic Sea. Participation in working groups in connection with this task: ICES Working Group on Recruitment Processes (WGRP), SGCSA/Cod Research cruises: annually 2 cruises FRC "Clupea", 2 cruises FRV "Solea".
