Within the scope of this project, fifty samples of herring, sprats, and salmon from catches made from the r/v Baltica and purchased from fishermen (salmon) were secured. Homogenates were prepared from these samples, which were then sent to the laboratory of the Institute of Public Health in Ostrawa, Czech Republic to be tested for contents of dioxin and dioxin-like compounds.
