The project is part of the measure 4.6 "Innovative actions" and, in particular, in the context of interventions aimed at the implementation of experimental projects that provide for the development of environmentally friendly practices aimed at protecting the environment, fisheries resources and safeguarding the human health. In this project the fishing company the Ancona Fishing Consortium has expressly forwarded a request to the Institute of Marine Sciences (ISMAR) of the CNR of Ancona for the design and testing of a divergent pelagic network that allows a rational and above all responsible for pelagic resources. The design of the network was aimed at finding the most suitable hydrodynamic solutions aimed at reducing fuel consumption and polluting exhaust gas emissions.
