The purpose of the project is to learn how Denmark has organized us here at home calls the Health, Environment and Safety Work (HSE). We do not go into detail about what has been done things in a slightly different way than in Norway have led to fewer accidents, possibly fewer fatalities or a reduction in the number of serious accidents. Such a comparison requires another approach than that chosen in this case. That the organization with a fixed, central management of the work has led to increased awareness of HSE seems beyond doubt. The has in itself a preventive effect. You also get faster follow-up from both the industry and authorities when weaknesses are revealed, which it is reasonable to assume prevents accidents and reduces occupational health problems.
