BlueBio is an ERA-NET COFUND created to directly identify new and improve existing ways of bringing bio-based products and services to the market and find new ways of creating value from in the blue bioeconomy.

The project focus on the estimation of the abundance of the Mediterranean rays, based on the data which have been collected during the MEDITS program between 1994-2001. The contribution of HCMR is consisted of the provision of necessary data of the abundance of rays in the Greek Seas and to the control of their analysis.
