This project aims to come up with a vessel concept where the tailing process is automated (hooking, securing catch) and the tail system is integrated in the hull. It was considered that it was most relevant to look at the technology used on M / S “Loran” and develop this into a technology for a smaller vessel. Goals: "1. Assessment of vessel concepts 2. Health, environment and safety (HSE) assessment of operations in current line fishing 3. A drawing of a final vessel concept 4. Cost calculations and investment analysis in light of shipowners' operating margins (quota rights)."
