The project will examine the effectiveness of factory sampling in improving the cost-effectiveness of food and environmental monitoring of fish disruptors. A cost-effective fast method will be developed for the project, which will be tested for monitoring, and information on the concentrations of new harmful substances in fish in Finnish marine areas will also be provided. The project will draw up a more detailed picture of the significance of fishing for the removal of dioxins and PCBs from Finnish fishing areas and identify the type of further innovations that the factory will enable as a node of partnership between researchers and fishermen.
