BlueBio is an ERA-NET COFUND created to directly identify new and improve existing ways of bringing bio-based products and services to the market and find new ways of creating value from in the blue bioeconomy.

Invasive alien species (IAS) and climate change require the development of new capabilities to protect natural resources and manage their rapid transformation. The project proposes the development of an integrated and shared approach for the study of the problem. The objective will be pursued through technical and technological advances supported by sector studies to improve the management of information and the use of IAS as a potential economic resource.
