To do the Norwegian fishing fleet more energy efficient has COWI AS on behalf of the Norwegian Fishermen's Association establish a model to study the energy consumption in current fleets and exploit advantages located in the old and new technology . The project "Energy Networks Fishing fleet 2006-2007" was formed with a network model for coastal vessels over 22 m and trawlers, and developed methodology to analyse the energy balance in these fleet groups . The result for season 2006/07, consisting of 36 vessels, was a potential study based on a "Ideal boat" was possible to save fuel costs by NOK 415 000 , - per year for a coastal boat and NOK 1,162,000, - pr. years for a trawler with simple measures. Ideal boat is a "best-practice-boat" consisting of the most energy -efficient sub processes are documented among the different participating boats, assembled into a complete vessel. The project is featured in the MEA(06/2006) and the results discussed in Fiskaren (Front des. 2007) as well as on their websites FHF 07/12/2007. The project has been of great benefit to the participating vessels, through participation has been a more conscious awareness of energy use in your own vessel. At the request of auto line and coastal vessels under 22 m we are asked to continue work on the network for these fleet groups. In a meeting with the Technology Forum in February 2008, it was shown interest to pursue a network covering new groups in the Norwegian fishing fleet. In "Energy Networks Fishing fleet 2009-2010" planning work continued in the auto line and coastal fleet under 22m. By season 2009 and 2010 . As an improvement of the Energy Networks Fishing fleet 2006-2007, the readings and logging for production of electric power and the boat's power needs through the various operating states. In the budget, it added up to a more efficient use of project hours when a lot of tools and methodologies from other networks continued, albeit with some changes. In a pilot phase is planned completion of the testing of a model for mapping the two autoliners and two coastal vessels under 22 meters. The main phase consists of carrying the full scale for the remaining 32 vessels. Goals: (1) Mobilization and mapping of 32 vessels for Fuel with Fuel blocks fished over the years; (2) Fuel organized in 36 vessels; (3) EOS system implemented for 36 vessels; (4) Follow-up established for 36 vessels; (5) Periodic reporting of Fuel use; (6) Information Program conducted by: (i) Newsletters, (ii) Publications and reviews in journals, MEA etc.
