The coastal fishing fleet is constantly working to improve the quality of catch and HSE on board. The fishermen struggle with both stress injuries and wear and tear and high accident rates. Furthermore, one sees the advantage of good and gentle treatment of the catch in order to be able to increase the quality and value. Streamlining could lead to an improved working environment and greater profitability. Lotentzen hydr. and mek verksted has been producing hauling equipment for line for over forty years, with a focus on good cooperation with users. The collaboration has led to several ideas for further development of the haul to make fishing more efficient. In this project, one wanted to pay special attention to automatic dangling and cleaning of the line farm. This is to achieve less workload, increased quality of the catch and a cleaner environment for lining. In addition, one has wanted to facilitate an effective emergency stop.
