The HAB-Spot project aims at the synergistic use of insitu data (oceanographic cruises, ADCP), satellite images, hydrodynamic numerical modeling, meteorological data and access to monitoring data on toxic algae and toxins in bivalves, in order to study hydrodynamic processes underlying the dynamics of HABs -blooms of toxic algae- between Figueira da Foz and Aveiro.
