The project has investigated the development of quality, temperature and weight along the value chain by following two shipments of anglerfish from catch to market. Market demands have also been looked at in important markets for anglerfish, and opportunities for the sale of residual raw materials, ie head, cheeks and liver, have been mapped. Goal: to increase the quality of anglerfish that is sold and utilize residual raw material. This will lead to increased quality and value creation for anglerfish at all stages of the value chain. Sub-goals • To identify and describe problem areas regarding the capture and sale of anglerfish and assess measures to solve relevant problem areas. • To discuss opportunities and the distribution of responsibilities at various stages in the value chain in order to trigger a value creation potential. • To establish sales of residual raw material from anglerfish.
