As the crustacean fishery sector is facing seriously challenges regarding mortality and quality reduction of live crustacean commodity (crab), the crustacean project aims to improve the infra-structure in the sector and initiate the process of enhancing the level of innovation and exploitation of technology relatively to our global competitors in North America, Canada as well as a number of Asian countries. To address these main challenges in the industry our sector needs to innovate and develop improved and cost effective production methods throughout the product value chain.
