Start fishing and processing live Ocean Clam. Further business relationship in Europe for such products will be created. The aim is to increase the current value of the product at least tenfold. We will reach this goal by developed fishing, processing, storing and transporting of live Ocean Clam. This has so far not been done in Iceland but European markets for clams are rapidly big. The healthfulness of the Icelandic clam has already been confirmed. Further primary marketing research has resulted in positive indications.. Hraðfrystistöð Þórshafnar has decided to use knowledge out of this project to start export of Live Ocean Clam.
