BlueBio is an ERA-NET COFUND created to directly identify new and improve existing ways of bringing bio-based products and services to the market and find new ways of creating value from in the blue bioeconomy.

Aim of the project is to create an advanced and multifunctional Service Center which offers professional services to the fishing and aquaculture sectors. The project also includes demonstrations regarding the transformation of local products and the creation of some typical products of lagoon environments. SOS Gargano also supports investments with the aim of improving and facilitating the world of small-scale artisanal and lagoon fishing to enhance the so-called "minor catch" and the intertwining of fishing, agricultural and artisanal activities.
