Collection of organ material from broodstock - prescreening and virus analysis by spawning. 1) Organ material (kidney) is collected from up to 60 individuals from the various family populations of broodstock. The tissue is transferred to RNAlater and transport medium / glycerol for storage at -20 ° C. The analyzes include real-time PCR and culture on cell culture. The prevalence is determined. 2) Kidney samples, roe liquid and milk from spawning brood fish are collected renal culture and RT ‐ PCR analysis of IPNV in kidney and egg fluid. The analysis carried out quickly, so that it should be possible to incubate only roe as follows the assay is virus-free. The purpose is to find out if the entry of only "virus" free ”roe can reduce the risk of IPN outbreaks in the early fry phase.
