"In 2008, storage attempts were made for packaged and unpackaged clipfish on pallets where weight changes have been registered over a longer period. During the same period, the temperature and humidity at the relevant plant were also registered. The results show that packaged clipfish stored in a warehouse where the humidity is close to the product's equilibrium humidity does not change weight or quality over time. For unpackaged clipfish, the dehydration was significant and, as expected, dependent on exposure to the room air. Initial measurements at several plants showed that the humidity in finished goods warehouses varies from very low humidity to very high humidity. What happens during storage at very high or very low humidities of packaged clipfish is little known, and it is therefore desirable to investigate further whether the humidity is important for weight change and quality of finished packaged goods. At the same time, weight changes of unpackaged goods in the same warehouses will provide important information and provide the basis for the design of an optimal clipfish warehouse." Goals: "• To document weight changes during storage of packaged and unpackaged clipfish depending on the warehouse's air condition and storage requirements to avoid weight change. • To design technological solutions for an optimal warehouse."
