Recruitment of personnel with process and product development competence for the fishing industry. The project will help to build up the scope of research, teaching and dissemination of marine food technology. Through funding of three PhD positions (a doctoral scholarship and to post doc. positions) the Fisheries Industry Research Fund contributes to increased capacity for processing of industrial issues. Goals: 1. Develop industrial thawing systems and processes that ensure controlled temperature and high quality of the raw material. 2.
