The project aimed to develop recipes for new peeled shrimp products intended for the Norwegian consumer segment. 3 cooks from different culinary backgrounds were hired to develop recipes. In total 400 consumers from Tromsø and Stavanger tested the recipes using a central location test (CLT). 17 of the dishes received a favourable rating. 3 of the dishes were then testing in a home use situation. The results from this test were similar to the results from the CLT. Goal: to develop dinner dishes with frozen peeled shrimp as an ingredient for the Norwegian consumer market. Sub-goals 1. To develop more dinner dishes / recipes where frozen peeled shrimp is an ingredient. 2. To try out the dinner dishes among consumers and select the dinner dishes that have the greatest potential. 3. To market test products of frozen peeled shrimp that are adapted to the selected dinner dishes in a specific use situation. 4. To transfer knowledge from the project to the computer industry.
