BlueBio is an ERA-NET COFUND created to directly identify new and improve existing ways of bringing bio-based products and services to the market and find new ways of creating value from in the blue bioeconomy.

With the background of results from this project, Aker Seafoods ASA, in collaboration with Norwegian fillet producers, has decided to continue the project to pilot production of products made from Norwegian residual cod fillet. The project will be carried forward under the initiative "Fresh Norwegian residual cod fillet, product development, and pilot production."
