The background for the project is a desire to investigate the possibility of selling frozen fillets thawed in controlled forms. Gaols: • To establish a network of producers from FHL's Filetforum, domestic wholesalers from NSL and grocery customers of these wholesalers. • To prepare a proposal for a standard/norm for the thawing process. • Getting approval from the Norwegian Food Safety Authority for a standard for the thawing process.
