The main object is to verify whether the recently developed MW-spectroscopy tool can be used to predict catch area, fat content, fat composition, lipid oxidation level and certain other parameters of unique herring samples collected during NI-project 02106. In-production applicability of the MW-tool will also be tested. The project involves 7 main steps covering MW-measurements of remaining herring samples, multivariate data analyses, industrial testing, discussions/re-analyses and reporting.
