This project was born with the aim of strengthening the long-term network of companies and laboratories operating in sectors such as nanofabrication, microelectronics, expert systems for data analysis, neurobiology and neurophysiology, with training in a context multidisciplinary of new professional figures capable of using new methods and tools for molecular diagnostics, for the functional characterization of bio-sensors, as well as for the development of a correct supply chain for the calibration and certification of bio-marker measurement devices. The training plan will focus on the transfer of new technologies based on tools for the sampling, detection and monitoring of proteins and genetic biomarkers in body fluids and contaminants in marine bio-accumulator organisms and belonging to various levels of the chain trophic. This latter objective will be pursued through the transfer of knowledge relating to the approach to research and the development of innovative and efficient systems for monitoring marine contaminants, for the implementation of environmental sustainability and blue growth strategies.
