Cleaning of fish factories is a demanding job in a harsh environment. Cleaning of fish processing plants happens on a daily basis to avoid bacteria growth. It is carried out by manual labour, and the cleaners walk around and clean in an environment characterized by moist, smell and it is physical demanding. Some of the equipment and machines in fish processing plants are also hard to clean due to design. It is now believed that a robotized solution could do some of the cleaning and relief the workers of the most demanding jobs. In this project, it is sought to find such a robotized solution, and the possibilities of defining design-guidelines for easier washing will be investigated. Since the project started, workshops has been arranged, there have been meetings with different partners and collaboration agreements has been discussed. The work of gathering information about how the current cleaning process is done has started, and some pictures and videos has been taken.
