This project is a main project based on the preliminary project "Fully automatic land-based own system". In the pilot project “Mapping of user-oriented R&D needs for further development of coastline fishing” challenges around current line landing practice were highlighted as one of the key points. Coastal line fishing takes place mainly with line that is suitable on land. On the one hand, this provides a tool with accurate fitting and good catch rates. On the other hand, flexibility is hampered by the fact that the coastline fleet is tied up with infrastructure and labor on land. In many cases, there is also a lack of capacity to produce the number of stamps narrow line that provide rational utilization of the vessel. It is claimed that the situation would have been significantly worse if one did not have access to foreign labor. It is also a wish that the fisherman should be able to concentrate as much as possible on the fishing operation itself. The project is to reduce the need for labor in line drawing by automating all or part of the operation.
