The aim is to map operational and technical requirements to an industrial version of a bait dosing unit based on available information on future requirements. The project contains a preliminary requirements specification with an assessment of possible current industrial partners in a future project and a proposal for a continuation of prototype development. There is a broad perception within the industry that there will be an increased focus on live fish, in combination with spinner for larger coastal fishing vessels and tine / reef fishing for smaller vessels. Smaller vessels will be able to benefit from an expected increase in live catch of wild fish by providing infrastructure with cages for further feeding is made available. Further feeding can become a separate industry and constitute a new one reception system along the coast, especially for cod. In particular, the opportunities that lie in market-based harvesting with higher quality and expected higher price to supplier. Many expect that here it will be possible to develop a healthy and viable alternative to, for example, today's net fishing, but that this presupposes an increase in the efficiency of pot fishing.
