Objectives of this project are: (1) To determine the levels of bycatch of small cetaceans in set-nets and trawl nets, and develop management strategies to reduce bycatch; (2) To develop a greater understanding of cetacean bycatch in fisheries prosecuted in English and Welsh waters, and inform management strategies that will reduce cetacean bycatch in these fisheries.
