The aim of the studies was to evaluate the health state of selected fish species (flounder Platichthys flesus, eelpout Zoarces viviparus) and an attempt to evaluate the biological effects, caused by the presence of harmful chemical compounds in their tissues, as well as the use of biomarkers to evaluate the health state of selected mollusc species.
