The project will collect more detailed information than normal catch reporting on changes in the pike-perch catch of professional fishermen as a result of the increase in the size of the landings. Through accounting fishing, professional fishermen produce information on the abundance and size distribution of their catches in different fishing gear (various types of traps and nets) for remuneration. The data will be used to monitor changes in the abundance and structure of the stock, as well as the number and size distribution of catches by professional fishermen. The aim is to assess the impact of the increase in the size of the measure on commercial fishermen and the spawning stock.
