BlueBio is an ERA-NET COFUND created to directly identify new and improve existing ways of bringing bio-based products and services to the market and find new ways of creating value from in the blue bioeconomy.

Summary	The main object of this research is the study of equipment designed to handle overloads on cables to maneuverer and shoot in boats equipped with braking systems, static-called "band brake" associated with devices such as winches. The study includes the determination of the forces, the design and installation of the device on the machine and the applicability of the proposed technological solutions, combined with proper experimental validation. The proposed device should be viewed in the sense of improving safety on board, to solve problems involving extremely dangerous and deleterious stability itself. Goals: (1) Increase the safety onboard fishing vessel; (2) Increase the technology level of the vessel.
